Jen Bedier

Jennifer (Jen) Bedier is a Fellow at the Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library pursuing a M.A. in Library & Information Science at the University of Arizona. She is a scholar in Knowledge River, a program for information professionals who are committed to serving the information needs of Latino and Native American populations. She is a member of the American Indian Library Association and Arizona Library Association. For more than 20 years she has worked as a capital defense attorney representing indigent people on Arizona’s Death Row. She was formerly the Director of the Arizona Capital Representation Project, Arizona’s only legal aid non-profit that represents capital defendants, trains capital defense attorneys, and provides community education about the death penalty. She co-developed and co-taught a seminar on capital punishment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the James E. Rogers College of Law. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, walking her dog, and reading.
