Jaime Valenzuela joined the Cracchiolo Law Library in February 2016 as a Senior Library Assistant. He holds a M. A. in Library and Information Science and a B. A. in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. In pursuing his graduate degree, Jaime held a graduate assistantship at the UA’s Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research where he helped build a functioning library. He has also worked and volunteered in various library settings which include the University of Arizona’s Egyptian Expedition, Freeport McMoran Inc., the Arizona State Prison Complex in Tucson, and The Poetry Center at the University of Arizona.  Jaime is a Knowledge River Scholar (Cohort 12), and is committed to serving the underprivileged populations of the Native American and Hispanic communities. Jaime hopes to obtain a graduate certificate in Digital Information from the UA in the near future and is very happy to be working as a Wildcat in Tucson.
