Dan Fitzpatrick is a Fellow at the Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library at The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, pursuing a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science. During law school, Dan served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Daniel V. Zemaitis in the Family Law Division, 17th Circuit-Kent County, Michigan. He also worked as the Westlaw-Thomson Reuters student representative providing legal research assistance to law students and the local law school community. He further volunteered at Justice for Our Neighbors Pro Bono Clinic, facilitating the green card application process for refugee families throughout Michigan. After law school, Dan passed the July 2014 Arizona bar exam and started practicing law for a high volume personal injury and workers’ compensation firm in Phoenix, Arizona. While maintaining a sizable case load, Dan participated in all facets of pre-litigation and litigation stages including, but not limited to, initial client interviews and depositions, preparing expert witnesses, negotiating with insurance adjusters and defense counsel, and representing clients in hearings at the Industrial Commission of Arizona. Dan is a member of the Arizona Association for Justice /Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Arizona. In his leisure, Dan enjoys rock climbing, canyoneering, surfing, and crossword puzzles.
